There is nowhere better to practise the art of scenic photography than at Ellary and Castle Sween. Each day the light is different, and some really exciting pictures have been produced over the years. Try specialising during your stay by catching some extraordinary cloud effects, or experiment with the effects that can be produced by the unusual angle of the early morning or late evening sun. Wild life pictures are an obvious choice though not so easy, and some very attractive pictures are possible by simply taking the local people going about their jobs. At all events do not forget to bring your camera with you.
